❄️ Snow Just Fell in New York — And Another Storm May Hit Next Sunday
New Yorkers spent much of this week digging out after one of the most significant winter snowstorms in years — and now the forecast suggests we may be in for yet another snowfall next Sunday.

This Week’s Snow: How Much Fell:
Across New York City: Across Long Island and northern suburbs: Some communities in Suffolk and Nassau counties reported 10–14 inches or more. Farther north and west: Upstate and Hudson Valley areas also saw heavy snowfall, with some spots exceeding a foot. This was one of the heaviest snowstorms in the New York region in several years, and its impact — from snow banks to cold roads — has lingered throughout the week.
- Central Park recorded around 11.4 inches of snow.
- Parts of the Bronx, Staten Island, and Brooklyn saw over a foot of snow.
- JFK and LaGuardia airports also reported nearly 10 inches.
